Antigravity CLI is Google’s terminal coding agent, invoked as agy. It
shares its agent harness and settings with the Antigravity desktop app,
and it replaced Gemini CLI, which Google folded into it with a published
migration path and a one-command extension import.
models and pricing
Antigravity runs Gemini models, with Gemini 4 Argon on Google AI Pro and Ultra plans, and its model picker also offers Claude and GPT-OSS options depending on plan. A free Google account works for the base tiers, and a Gemini Enterprise preview covers business accounts.
what it’s good at
One harness spans the CLI and the desktop app, so conversations and settings carry over between them. It supports MCP servers, skills, and a plugin marketplace that imports Gemini CLI extensions with one command. The TUI is paired with a headless mode for automation, and the agent is optimized for SSH and remote sessions.
Antigravity CLI in crystl
Antigravity runs in a crystl shard and its output is read back like any other agent’s. Capabilities the catalog leaves unstated are unverified rather than unsupported — an absent flag is a gap in what has been tested, not a claim that the agent can’t do it.
